Wedding of Jan and Ester

Important information

When?

The feast will start at 14:00 and finish around 20:00. There will be a short break between the ceremony and the feast.

Where?

The location of the feast will be the same as the ceremony. It will be at Furuhöjdskyrkan, Torpvägen 9, Alunda. The toastmasters will provide all the necessary instructions on the spot.

What should you wear?

Preferably a formal attire (kavaj/klänning). If you are a man you can have a suit, for women a dress is a good option. Standard wedding dress code.

Where to leave cars?

There is enough parking spots around the church.

Should you come hungry?

The main dish will come around 16:00, so we recommend to eat some meal before the ceremony.

What about your children?

Children under 12 years old are all welcome to join. There will be a designated playroom for them, activities and volunteers watching over them. Also the area around the building is calm and suitable for children and includes playground and nice nature.

Please mention your children in our response form (RSVP).

Gifts

In the fall we are planning to move to Macedonia. If you would like to give us something, we prefer financial gifts or something with a small volume and weight, so it fits in our luggage. 😎

Accomodation

There is a few apartments in the area that you can book through Booking.com or AirBnb, but the biggest variety of options is in Uppsala. If you need transport from Uppsala to our wedding location (Alunda), we will do our best to connect you with someone that has some spaces in the car.
